KiDULTHOOD is about the lives of several teenagers growing up in a deprived area of West London. These teenagers are brought up in a unstable enviroment and are tempted to do things they know are wrong and illegal. London is well known for its gang violence and this film portrays this. The film represents serious and real life issues of what some teenagers go through in today’s society. The target audience for this film is teenagers and young adults mainly aimed at people aged between 15-25. This explains why so many people who are in this age group may watch it as they can relate to the issues and struggles of the actors.
