Below are some of the photographs we considered using for the front cover for our magazine and poster. We experimented with the back grounds in order to see which would look best on the cover of our magazine and poster. I thought that the locations we found made interesting backgrounds for our photographs which fit the urban style we were looking for. The images represent the theme of our movie trailer and show the deprived areas in which teenagers hang out in today's society. The costumes and setting used show consumers a sneak peek of what to expect from the film trailer and the themes. We purposely used typical on trend urban teenage clothing for the models to reflect the genre and targe audience. When taking the pictures, we had to ensure we used the techniques of a generic magazine cover, such as rule of thirds; this meant leaving a space on one side of the models. This way we could fit on straplines for example.
